Anne has 16 years experience teaching piano, including technique, theory, music history, ear-training,
sight-reading, improvisation, and musicianship. Anne earned her Bachelors degrees in piano and psychology at
Illinois Wesleyan University and Masters degree in piano at the University of Texas at Austin. She has performed
widely as a special events pianist, ensemble performer, and accompanist. Anne offers a unique approach to teaching
the piano, using her creativity and analytical training in addition to innovative applications in technology to help
students achieve their individual musical goals.
